More about those Ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-changes
Well, if you heard this weekend's show, you heard my esteemed fellow Verbivore, Richard Lederer, signing off as co-host of "A Way with Words."
Here's a story in today's San Diego Union-Tribune about it all.
And podcast listeners, this info's for you: We'll be rolling out the all new "A Way with Words" in early January 2007. In the meantime, we're working on some VERY exciting new developments with the show. So please stay tuned!

It sounds like you will have the best of both, Richard there pre-recording some parts and you going solo. I feel so proud for you.
Please tell Richard how much we have enjoyed his dynamic presencs and sense of genuine pleasure with words. And perhaps he may remember but I am the one who caught him on a presidential trivia: he said Benjamin Harrison was known for Tippicanoe and Tyler too but it was William Harrison.
Why weren't we podcasters able to hear this show. We need closure too.
Hi, anonymous -- I'm not sure which show it was that Richard said his farewell on. I think it aired in November, though -- most likely before Thanksgiving.
And thanks for the good wishes about Richard and the show. We're really excited about the new incarnation and are eager to know what you think!
