The British Englsh pronunciation would be "bay-bell", I have never heard it pronounced "babble".
Hi, Kris -- Thanks for the input. Judging by your site, looks like you must know a thing or two about Babel (or Babylon, anyway)!
I read an article in which screenwriter Guillermo Arriaga said that a linguist told him that the "bay-bull" pronunciation is the correct one.
